Cooking with Wonderbag: Kale Turkey Soup

Ground Turkey Kale Soup

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Wonderbag, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #WonderBag http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO

When I first heard about the Wonderbag, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one to try it out! A slow cooker bag that saves me time, money and all-important stove space? I’m in!

The Wonderbag uses revolutionary insulation technology to cook food that has been brought to a boil on the stovetop for up to 12 hours in the bag.  No more heavy slow cookers that have to be plugged in. Cooking with Wonderbag saves energy, which means it also saves money and helps the environment! The bag is lightweight and attractive (bonus!) and can be placed anywhere while continuing to cook your food inside.

In addition to being a revolutionary new product, Wonderbag is all about giving back. For every Wonderbag purchased in the US, one is donated to a family in need in Africa.

The Wonderbag was originally created to empower women in Africa by allowing them to spend less time tending to a wood fire cooking meals, as well as reducing their fuel usage by up to 30% helping them both socially and economically. Instead of walking miles to get wood to keep a fire burning throughout the day, women in Africa can use an initial wood supply to heat their food, then place it in the Wonderbag to continue cooking all day.

Ever since I received my Wonderbag I have not quit talking about it! From their mission to give back, to the incredible product itself there’s nothing that I don’t love about the Wonderbag! Just think how easy it would be to take soups, casseroles or lasagnas to a pot luck… or a picnic… or out camping! Thanksgiving dinner rolls around and you’re out of stove space, just toss your mashed potatoes in the Wonderbag to keep them cooking while freeing up a stove burner.  And don’t worry, you can’t burn anything in the Wonderbag because it’s not on direct heat!

The Wonderbag can easily be purchased on Amazon, grab one for yourself, one for a friend and two women in Africa will be given bags that will socially and economically empower them!
