A few months back I discovered the greatness of Trader Joe’s Fig Butter, it’s sweet, figgy deliciousness is perfect on a piece of toast, but I also wanted to create an LLB recipe with the delicious spread.

Since I love the combination of figs and brie cheese, I decided to create an adorable and totally delicious appetizer with the fig butter and brie.

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, these little appetizers are quickly and easily whipped up with only 3 ingredients, but look totally gourmet!

Fig & Baked Brie Puffed Pastry Bites Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • ¼ cup brie cheese
  • ¼ cup fig butter

Preheat the oven to 375°.

Slice the puff pastry sheet into 12 squares.

Place each square of puff pastry dough into a mini muffin tin.

Place in the oven and bake for 12 minutes.

Remove from the oven and press down in the middle of each square of puff pastry dough.

Place a teaspoon of brie cheese in the middle.

Add a teaspoon of fig butter to each puff pasty bite.

Place back in the oven for 5-7 minutes.

No Trader Joe’s in your area? No worries! You can find Fig Preserves at almost any grocery store to replace the Fig Butter.
