  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 sheets puff pastry dough (thawed)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water

Strawberry Cheesecake Pie Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Combine the cream cheese, confectioners sugar and vanilla extract in a medium mixing bowl.

In a separate small mixing bowl, combine the strawberries, granulated sugar and lemon juice.

Roll out the puff pastry dough on a floured surface. Use a rolling pin to roll thin.

Cut the puff pastry dough in heart shapes using a heart-shaped cookie cutter.

Discard the scraps of puff pastry dough between the cut out hearts.

Whisk the egg and water together.

Brush the edges of each heart with the whisked egg. I simply use my finger to do this.

Fill half of the hearts with a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture.
