While Sloppy Joes may be a childhood favorite, I promise that they’re just as delicious at 20-something as they were at 7!
I took the classic family dish and kicked it up a notch with Litehouse Opadipity Chipotle Ranch Dip.
It adds an awesome creaminess and flavor to the already delicious dish!
In under 30 minutes, this spin on Sloppy Joes turns in to dinner on the table!
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup Litehouse Chipotle Ranch Dip
- 6 oz tomato paste
- ½ cup beef broth
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 8 hamburger buns
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the onion, saute 5-7 minutes, add the garlic, saute an additional 1-2 minutes.
Add the ground beef and cook through.
Once the beef is cooked, drain any grease, then add the Litehouse dip, tomato paste, beef broth, salt and pepper.
Combine well, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
Scoop the sloppy joes out on top of toasted hamburger buns, and serve.
The sloppy, meaty sandwich you’ve always known and loved, with a little twist, you just can’t beat it!
I know that many of my friends, fans and followers are parents, so back-to-school is upon you, whip up this dish for an easy weeknight dinner recipe that both parents and kids will love!
It’s also almost football season, my favorite time of year! These Sloppy Joes would also make a great new game day favorite.
