Add the mini pepperonis, or other toppings of your choice, on top of the cheese.
Roll the dough over the filling.
Slice in 1 inch sections, making 12 rolls.
Place the rolls touching in an oven safe dish.
Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
To make them in an air fryer: set the air fryer to 330°F and cook for 12 minutes.
Alternative toppings can be added instead of the pepperonis. Do not add more than 1/2 cup toppings, or it will be too full and hard to roll up.
To make vegetarian pizza rolls, omit the pepperoni. Simply make cheesy pizza rolls, or vegetables, like peppers, onions or mushrooms.
Leftover pizza rolls will stay good in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat the pizza rolls in the microwave, oven or air fryer.
To reheat them in the microwave, place them on a microwave-safe plate and microwave for 30-60 seconds.
To reheat them in the oven, place them on a baking sheet and into a 400°F oven for 5-7 minutes. Alternatively, you can place them under the broiler in the oven for 2-3 minutes, for a more crispy reheated roll.
To reheat them in the air fryer, place them in the air fryer, set at 330°F for 3 minutes.
