Classic Chicken Pot Pie

What you'll need

Press puff pastry dough in square dish. Use a fork to poke holes in the pastry.

Press a piece of foil on top of the puff pastry. Bake for 25 minutes.

Cook diced onions, carrots & celery in butter.

Sprinkle flour over the vegetables.

Add chicken broth, salt, pepper & thyme.

Add shredded chicken & peas.

Add the pot pie filling to the pre-baked puff pastry crust.

Slice another sheet of puff pastry dough into strips, weave it on top, then brush with egg wash.

Bake for 35-45 minutes.
