The BEST Traditional Reuben Sandwich

Ingredients you'll need

Drain the sauerkraut and press out any extra liquid.

Heat up sliced corned beef in a skillet on the stove.

Butter each slice of rye bread.

Spread thousand island dressing on the other side of the bread.

Top each slice of bread with a slice of Swiss cheese.

Top half of the pieces with sliced corned beef.

Top the corned beef with sauerkraut.

Cook in a skillet, or griddle pan for 3-4 minutes per side.

Cut the sandwiches in half and serve.

An incredibly delicious sandwich, great for using up leftover corned beef!
