Ingredients

flour

cornmeal

sugar

baking powder

salt

eggs
whisked

buttermilk
1/3
cup
butter
melted

cheddar cheese
shredded

cup
corn kernels
fresh or frozen
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt.
In a small bowl, combine the eggs, buttermilk and melted butter.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
Mix well, then add the shredded cheddar and corn.
Line the inside of a slow cooker with non-stick foil.
Pour the cornbread batter into the slow cooker.
Cook on high for 2-3 hours.
Use the edges of the foil to lift and remove the cornbread from the slow cooker.
Slice the cornbread into 15 squares.
