Ingredients

olive oil

onion

fresh pineapple

sesame oil

tsp
onion powder

garlic powder

sea salt

King’s Hawaiian Sweet Hamburger Buns
Instructions
In a medium skillet, heat 2 tbsp olive oil over medium heat.
Add the onion, pineapple and jalapeno.
Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until onions and pineapple are caramelized, stirring often.
Set aside until ready to assemble the burgers.
Heat the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat or brush the olive oil onto a heated grill.
Add the ground turkey, sesame oil, onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt and green onion to a large bowl.
Mix the ingredients together, but be sure not to over-mix or the burgers will be tough.
Form the meat into 4 burger patties.
Place patties onto the hot skillet or grill for 7-9 minutes per side.
Two minutes before removing the burgers from the grill, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on top of each burger.
Remove the burgers from the grill and place on lightly toasted King’s Hawaiian Hamburger Buns.
Top each burger with a spoonful of the Pineapple Onion Jalapeno Relish.
