Basil Flatbread
Homemade fresh basil flatbread is easy to make and the perfect crispy base for a flatbread pizza to top with your favorite ingredients for lunch or dinner!

fresh basil

olive oil
Instructions
Combine the yeast, sugar, flour, salt and basil in a large bowl.
Pour the water in and mix until a solid ball forms.
Coat another large bowl with the olive oil, then place the dough inside.
Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
After the dough has risen, punch the dough down then place on a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes.
Roll the dough into 3 or 4 flatbreads.
Place on a grill over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes.
Flip and grill for an additional 8-10 minutes or until the bread begins to brown and bubble.
