Goat Cheese Honey Fig Grilled Cheese
Fresh figs are drizzled in honey and paired with goat cheese in this decadent goat cheese fig grilled cheese sandwich recipe.

cut into 12 slices

goat cheese

butter
Instructions
Add the figs to a small mixing bowl.
Drizzle the honey on top then zest one lemon into the honey figs.
Prepare the sandwiches by spreading 1/2 tbsp of butter on one side of each slice of bread then spread the other side with 1/2 tbsp of goat cheese.
Add 1/4 cup of the fig mixture on top of half the slices of bread. Top with the other slices of bread.
Place in skillet over medium-high heat and cook for 2-3 minutes per side.
