Honey Fig and Bacon Brussel Sprouts Pizza
Honey figs, bacon brussel sprouts, burrata cheese & balsamic reduction top this delicious brussel sprouts pizza recipe with tons of flavor!

ends cut off & quartered

balsamic vinegar

cup
fresh figs
,
quartered

tbsp
honey

cup
olive oil
4
oz
burrata cheese
,
or fresh mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Pizza Dough
Combine the water and yeast in a large bowl.
Allow to sit for 5-10 minutes or until the mixture begins to bubble.
Add the flour and salt.
Mix until a solid ball forms. (Add more water if too dry.)
Knead the ball of dough for 5 minutes then place into a large oiled bowl.
Cover and allow to rise for 30-45 minutes.
Honey Fig Brussel Sprouts Pizza
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until crispy.
Using a slotted spoon, remove the bacon from the grease and set aside.
Add the brussels sprouts to the bacon grease and cook for 8-10 minutes.
Remove from the heat and set aside.
In a small saucepan, bring the balsamic vinegar to a boil.
Reduce the heat and allow the vinegar to reduce by half.
While the balsamic is reducing, combine the figs and honey in a small bowl.
Once the dough has risen, preheat the oven to 425°F.
Place the dough on a clean surface and roll into a thin crust.
Brush the crust with olive oil.
Top with the bacon, brussels sprouts and honey figs.
Tear the burrata into small pieces, and place across the pizza.
Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the top.
Place in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes.
Notes
Vegetarian Option:
Omit the bacon, cook the brussels sprouts in 2 tbsp olive oil.
