Avocado bruschetta features creamy avocados, juicy tomatoes, and fresh basil atop crispy toasted baguette slices all topped off with a drizzle of balsamic reduction! This 10 minute appetizer recipe is a winner every time!
Slice the baguette into ½ inch thick slices and place them on a baking sheet. Brush olive oil on top of each slice of bread. Place in the oven and bake at for 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and toasted.
Gently toss the tomatoes, avocado, onion, garlic, basil, olive oil, salt and pepper together in a medium mixing bowl.
Place the avocado bruschetta on the toasted baguette slices. Drizzle with the balsamic reduction.
Notes
Balsamic reduction can be found in a bottle near the balsamic vinegar at most major grocery stores. It might also be labeled as balsamic glaze. You can also make your own at home, refer to the blog post above for instructions.
