Instructions
Toss the shredded cheddar cheese with the cornstarch and set aside.
Add the butter to a large saucepan on the stove over medium high heat.
Once the butter is melted, add the onion and cook down for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the evaporated milk and worcestershire sauce, scraping up any browned bits of caramelized onions from the bottom of the saucepan.
Add the french onion dip mix and cheddar cheese.
Stir until the cheese is melted.
Once the cheese is melted and the queso is smooth and creamy, stir in the sour cream before serving the dip.
Serve with tortilla chips or veggies for dipping.
