Tender, flavorful pork tenderloin is marinated in fresh herbs, then combined with apples and shallots in this delicious recipe for grilled pork skewers!
In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Add the rosemary, sage and steak seasoning.
Slice the pork tenderloin into 1 inch cubes. Toss the pork in the marinade and place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
In the meantime, cut the apples into cubes and slice the shallots into 1 inch pieces.
Skewer the pork, apples and shallots onto 8 skewers.
Heat a grill (or grill pan) to medium heat and grill for 5-6 minutes.
Rotate the skewers then grill for an additional 5-6 minutes.
Notes
Always be sure pork is cooked to an internal temperature of 145°F.
If using wood skewers, be sure to soak the skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before adding food to the skewers. This will prevent the wood from catching fire when on the grill or in the oven.
