About WhitneyBond.com
Never make a boring recipe again! All you need are the right seasonings, sauces and simple cooking techniques to turn an easy recipe into a flavorful meal.
Who we are
WhitneyBond.com is an award-winning food blog started by Whitney Bond in 2011. The website is visited by over 1 million home cooks each month. Our audience comes to the site when they’re looking to get out of a cooking rut and make easy recipes with bold flavors.
Whitney is passionate about creating elevated traditional recipes, classic recipes with unique ingredients, and recreating restaurant favorites at home for a fraction of the price. All of the recipes on the site are exciting and delicious, while not overwhelming or difficult.
Our history
WhitneyBond.com was founded in 2011 by Whitney Bond, a journalist with a passion for cooking passed down from her family in Oklahoma. Whitney was known as “the girl who cooks” amongst her friends, and was always asked to share her recipes. In 2011, she decided to start sharing those recipes with the world on her self-titled blog and since that time has shared her recipes with over 43 million people.
Our mission
We want everyone to be able to make exciting and delicious meals for their family, no matter their level of experience in the kitchen. Whitney learned to cook from her Grandma, Grandpa, Dad and Mom. She has a passion for teaching others how to make recipes in a similar way that she was taught, with lots of love, simple details, and tons of flavor!
This is why you’ll find 750+ quick and easy recipes on the blog. Every recipe is made start-to-finish in under an hour, with most recipes made in 30 minutes or less. These recipes are perfect for the beginner cook or someone that wants to get in and out of the kitchen as quick as possible.
If you’re simply looking to add more flavor to your weeknight meals, Whitney is passionate about crafting delicious seasoning blends and sauces that will elevate any meal.
Spending half of her life in Oklahoma and half of her life in California, Whitney has been influenced by the cuisines of both regions. This is why you’ll find over 200 Mexican recipes on the blog ranging from Tex Mex to authentic recipes from Baja, Mexico City, and Guadalajara.
