Asian chicken sliders are a healthy, fun twist on traditional sliders with flavors of ginger, lemongrass and garlic, topped with bell pepper pineapple slaw.
Today’s post is sponsored by Litehouse.
I’m so excited to introduce you to a new slider recipe, as well as a new WhitneyBond.com partner!
I’m sure that many of you are familiar with Litehouse products already, but for those of you who aren’t, I’m happy to fill you in on all of the goodness they have to offer!
From freeze dried herbs and salad dressings, to dips and cheeses, Litehouse offers so many of my favorite products.
I love the freeze dried, instantly fresh herbs because it’s like having a variety of fresh herbs on hand at all times!
In this recipe I used their instantly fresh lemongrass. I’m just taking a wild guess, but I’m assuming that most of you don’t have fresh lemongrass hanging in your fridge right now.
That’s the beauty of Litehouse herbs, you have them on hand whenever you need them!
I also added Litehouse ginger and garlic, as well as fresh veggies to make this one healthy and flavorful little slider!
Asian Chicken Sliders Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- ½ cup red onion (minced)
- ½ cup red bell pepper (minced)
- 1 serrano chili (minced)
- 1 tbsp green onions (chopped)
- 1 tsp Litehouse Ginger
- 1 tsp Litehouse Garlic
- 1 tsp Litehouse Lemongrass
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, onion, bell pepper, serrano chili and green onion.
Add the Litehouse ginger, garlic and lemongrass.
Pour the soy sauce directly over the Litehouse herbs, this will rehydrate the herbs.
Add the sriracha, egg and breadcrumbs as binders. Mix all of the ingredients together.
Form into 8 small slider patties.
Place on the grill over medium heat for 5 minutes per side.
I placed mine on Hawaiian Rolls (they’re my go-to slider buns) then topped them with a Bell Pepper Pineapple Slaw.
Bell Pepper Pineapple Slaw Ingredients
- ½ red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
- ½ green bell pepper (thinly sliced)
- ½ yellow bell pepper (thinly sliced)
- ½ cup diced pineapple
- ¼ cup green onions (the light green and white parts – sliced into 1 inch sections)
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl. Place on top of the sliders.
A light, refreshing twist on sliders that packs a ton of flavor!

Sliders for winners!! I’m recovering from publishing 4 sliders posts on my blog recently, and now these Asian Chicken Sliders make me want to eat sliders again! 😀
The bell peppers add such vibrant color. I love it! And where are these buns from?
YUM! I will surely make these for my friends/family – I am sure that for those avoiding starches they would be awesome on a bed of your pepper slaw and maybe some bok-choy or something too!? My Mouth is watering at the thought of these.
Yum! Love all the flavors in these chicken sliders! I especially love the lemongrass + sriracha combo. This would be perfect to take to my next small group gathering! Pinned.
Thanks so much Min!! These would be great for a small gathering, let me know what you think after you make them at home 🙂
