Garlic & lemon give great flavor to this grilled asparagus recipe, topped with feta cheese for a delicious side dish at your next BBQ!
I just redecorated my balcony with all new furniture and decor, and now all I want to do is grill everything and hang out on the balcony!
And that’s pretty much what I’ve been doing for a week straight!
After spending over an hour cleaning my grill so that it would nicely compliment all of my new furniture, I decided that dinner should definitely be cooked on my shiny clean grill!
I decided on Surf & Turf and grilled up Chipotle Lime Chicken Fajita Skewers and Chipotle Honey Glazed Salmon. On the side I served Deconstructed Mexican Street Corn and this Grilled Asparagus recipe.
I love the combination of lemon and garlic, and my friend Alison had just brought me a large bag of lemons from her Moms house, so I decided to combine the lemon juice and zest with a red wine & olive oil vinaigrette, and garlic to make a tasty sauce to pour over the asparagus for grilling.
I immediately topped the asparagus with creamy feta cheese as soon as it came off the grill so that it would slightly melt over the asparagus.
The flavor combination was totally delicious and I can’t wait to serve this recipe up at BBQs all summer long!

This recipe is the perfect side dish to grill up over Memorial Day Weekend, which is just a little over 2 weeks away!
What are your Memorial Day plans? Right now it looks like I’m staying put in home sweet San Diego so that probably means a little beach, a little boating and a lot of BBQing!

We have a wonderful screen porch at our home, but we never go out there… I’m realizing today it’s because it needs redecorating 🙂 Love this recipe. Perfect for summer!
Regan – I felt the same way about my amazing balcony, I have a beautiful view & never went out there because all I had out there was a rusty old table, now I basically refuse to leave my house, haha! I’ll be showing the full balcony remodel on the blog on May 21! Can’t wait to share it with you & maybe it will inspire some ideas for your porch!
