Apple Cinnamon Cream Cheese Danish

This easy danish recipe is made with crescent rolls and a cinnamon apple cream cheese filling for a delicious and simple breakfast treat!
With fall in the air and football on the TV, nothing makes a Sunday morning better than the smell of cinnamon and apples baking in the oven!
Inspired by these Blueberry Pastry Delights, I whipped up a batch of these Apple Cinnamon danishes to create that delicious fall smell!
Cream cheese and fall spices give this danish recipe a rich, creamy center, while cinnamon apples give them a great crunch on top!
With only 10 minutes of prep time and 12 minutes in the oven, this danish recipe is so easy to whip up for breakfast during the week, brunches on the weekend or to take as a dessert to holiday parties!
Apple Cinnamon Cream Cheese Danish Ingredients
- ½ cup cream cheese
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon (divided)
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- ⅛ tsp ground cloves
- ⅛ tsp allspice
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 1 cup diced apples
Apple Cinnamon Cream Cheese Danish Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375° F.
In a small bowl whip together the cream cheese, brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and allspice.
Roll the crescent dough out and press the perforations together, then slice the dough into 8 squares.
Top each square with a spoonful of the cinnamon cream cheese mixture.
Toss the apples with the additional teaspoon of cinnamon.
Divide the apples between the pastries.
Fold the corners of each square into the middle of the pastry and place on a baking stone.
Place in the oven and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until golden brown.
