Planning to host a party for the big game in a couple of weeks? These three simple skewer recipes will make entertaining a breeze!
These skewers are quick, easy, and require no actual cooking! They can easily be prepared early and placed in the refrigerator until game time, that way, you’re ready to roll before kick off.
After all, you wouldn’t want to miss any of the hilarious commercials, exciting half time performances, or exhilarating touchdowns!
From appetizers to desserts, these skewers are just as delicious to eat, as they are easy to make!
I stopped by World Market to pick up tons of delicious ingredients for these game day skewers.
From Ghirardelli Chocolate and Torani Syrups to Krave Jerkey and Columbus Salame, World Market has tons of delicious ingredients to get you game day ready!
For the first recipe, I prepared a super flavorful antipasto skewer with Columbus Italian Dry Salame.
Ingredients
- 12 oz Columbus Italian Dry Salame
- 12 oz Marinated Fresh Mozzarella Balls
- 16 oz Mezzetta Roasted Red Bell Peppers
- 16 oz Mezzetta Whole Peperoncinis
- 2 tsp Fini Balsamic Glaze
Place a piece of salame on a skewer, add a mozzarella ball, bell pepper, peperoncini, then finish with another piece of salame.
Repeat approximately 23 times.
Drizzle with the balsamic glaze.
YUM! Easy game day grub, for the win!
Next up, I created a skewer with two game day favs, meat and cheese!
For this recipe, I combined Krave Garlic Chili Pepper Jerky with pepper jack cheese for a simple, slightly spicy skewer.
Ingredients
- 2 (3.25 oz) bags Krave Garlic Chili Pepper Beef Jerky
- 8 oz Pepper Jack Cheese (cubed)
Skewer a piece of jerky, a piece of cheese, another piece of jerky and another piece of cheese.
Repeat approximately 23 times.
Meat, cheese, spice, now if that doesn’t say game day, I don’t know what does!
For the third recipe, I created a delicious dessert skewer with Ghirardelli chocolate and Torani chocolate syrup, because double the chocolate, double the fun! 😉
Ingredients
- 24 fresh strawberries
- 24 Ghirardelli Assorted Chocolate Minis
- 24 large marshmallows
- 2 tsp Torani Dark Chocolate Syrup
Slice the stems off each strawberry, then slice each strawberry in half.
Unwrap the chocolate minis and use the sharp point of a knife to slice a small hole in the middle (for easy skewering).
Add the top half of a strawberry to a skewer, followed by a marshmallow and chocolate mini, then the other half of the strawberry.
Drizzle with the chocolate syrup.
Can we just talk about how pretty these are?! Seriously, game day, Tuesday, I pretty much want to eat these every day! 😉
