Breakfast Taco Ring

Eggs, sausage, cheese and hot sauce make the perfect filling for this breakfast taco ring that’s so delicious, and easy to make!
When it comes to tacos, I’m pretty much a fan of everything in the “taco family”.
Soft tacos, crispy tacos, big tacos, small tacos, taco rings, taco bars, tacos, tacos, tacos, I love tacos!
From Beef Barbacoa Tacos to Cheesy Green Chili Chicken Rolled Tacos to this Buffalo Chicken Taco Ring, I’m pretty much obsessed with creating anything taco related for the blog!
Now I present to you, my latest taco creation, inspired by my love of all things breakfast!
Spicy turkey sausage, hot sauce scrambled eggs and habanero cheddar cheese wrapped up in flakey, buttery crescent rolls!
It’s spicy, flavorful and O-M-G delicious!
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup hot sauce
- 1 lb turkey breakfast sausage
- 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 cup spicy cheddar cheese (shredded)
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, pepper and hot sauce in a medium bowl.
In one skillet over medium heat, add the eggs and scramble.
In another skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the turkey sausage.
Once the eggs are scrambled and the sausage is cooked through, add the sausage and shredded cheese to the scrambled eggs and toss everything together.
Form a ring with the crescent rolls by placing a small glass on the center of a baking stone then staggering the crescent rolls around the glass with the wide ends overlapping in the center.
Add the egg sausage mixture to the middle of the crescent roll ring around the cup.
Remove the glass from the middle and roll the dough up and over the eggs & sausage.
Place the roll in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
Voila! Breakfast goodness awaits!
Serve with sour cream or salsa on the side, if you would like. Cut into slices and dig in!
