How do I make turkey soup in a pressure cooker?
Add butter to an electric pressure cooker and use the saute function to saute onions, carrots, celery and garlic.
Add salt, pepper, rosemary, sage, thyme, bay leaves, leftover shredded turkey and turkey stock to the pressure cooker.
Turn the saute function off and place the lid on the pressure cooker, make sure it’s set to sealing, then set the pressure cooker to high pressure for 10 minutes.
After the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure cooker to pressure down for 10-15 minutes before releasing any remaining pressure and removing the lid.
How do you make turkey soup in a crock pot?
To make this turkey soup in a crock pot, add the onions, carrots, celery, garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, sage, thyme, bay leaves, leftover shredded turkey and turkey stock to a crock pot. Set to low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
After the cooking time is complete, add the stuffing dumplings to the crock pot and spoon the turkey stock over the dumplings, allow to cook in the hot soup for 5-7 minutes before serving.

Combine whisked eggs, flour, salt and pepper. Add two cups of leftover stuffing and form into 8 round dumplings.
If the dumplings are too dry, add a little turkey broth or water. If the dumplings are too wet, add a little more flour.

Instant Pot Turkey Soup with Stuffing Dumplings
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup onion chopped
- 1 cup celery chopped
- 1 cup carrots diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh sage chopped
- 1 cup leftover shredded turkey
- 8 cups turkey stock click link for homemade recipe
- 2 large eggs
- 6 tbsp flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 cups leftover stuffing
Turn the Instant Pot to the saute function, add the butter, once melted add the onions, celery, carrots and garlic, saute for 2-3 minutes.
Add the salt, pepper, bay leaf, rosemary, thyme, sage, shredded turkey and turkey stock to the Instant Pot.
Press the cancel button on the Instant Pot, cover and make sure the lid is set to “sealing”.
Press the manual button and set the Instant Pot on high pressure for 10 minutes.
After the timer beeps, allow the soup to pressure down for 10-15 minutes.
While the turkey soup is cooking, prepare the stuffing dumplings by whisking the eggs together, then stirring in the flour, salt and pepper. Add the leftover stuffing and mix well.
When the turkey soup is done cooking and the Instant Pot has pressured down, remove the lid and drop the stuffing dumplings by rounded tablespoons (approximately 8) into the turkey soup.
Spoon the soup over the dumplings to cook them in the hot broth, allow the dumplings to cook in the soup for 5-7 minutes, then serve.
