Nutella Chocolate Gluten Free Skillet Brownies are a rich, decadent, delicious dessert. They’re easy enough to make for a weeknight treat, but also perfect for parties!

Nothing will make a day more decadent than the combination of Nutella and chocolate in a delicious skillet brownie! While this skillet brownie recipe is gluten free, I promise that if I didn’t tell you, you’d never know. It’s so rich and creamy, there’s no need for gluten in this delightful dessert!

Ingredients

  • Butter
  • Granulated sugar
  • Vanilla extract
  • Eggs
  • Premium Gold Gluten Free Flour – or your favorite gluten free flour blend.
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Salt
  • Baking powder
  • Chocolate chips
  • Nutella
  • Milk – I recommend 2% or whole milk.
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

Cream 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup sugar together in a large bowl.

Add vanilla extract and eggs. Combine well, then add cocoa, flour, baking soda and salt.

Combine until the batter is smooth.

Stir in mini chocolate chips.

Spray a large skillet with cooking spray.

Pour the batter into the skillet.

Bake at 325°F for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

While the brownie is baking, prepare the brownie frosting by adding chocolate chips, butter and Nutella to a small mixing bowl.

Melt in the microwave for 2 minutes, then whisk in the milk, followed by the powdered sugar.

After the brownie is finished baking, pour the frosting over the skillet brownie.

  • Cream ½ cup butter and 1 cup sugar together in a large bowl.
  • Add the vanilla and eggs. Mix together then add the cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
  • Spray a large skillet with cooking spray. Pour the batter into the skillet.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of Nutella to the brownie batter. Use a knife to swirl the Nutella.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  • While the brownie is baking, prepare the brownie frosting by adding the remaining ½ cup chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon Nutella to a small mixing bowl.
  • Melt in the microwave for 2 minutes, then whisk in the milk, followed by the powdered sugar.
  • After the brownie is finished baking, pour the frosting over the brownie in the skillet. Let cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing and serving.
