This skin-boosting blueberry avocado smoothie recipe combines ingredients that are gluten free, vegan and delicious!
On a recent visit to see my beautiful, talented esthetician, Elizabeth Rabena, I asked her about things I could do to improve my skin. She recommended incorporating more turmeric in my diet.
I took her advice and then did a little research on other foods that would help boost the skin. That’s when I added blueberries, avocado and soy milk to this smoothie.
Ingredients
- ½ cup blueberries
- 1 avocado (peeled and seeded)
- 5.3 oz dairy-free soy blueberry yogurt
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed
- 1 cup soy milk
- 1 cup ice
Instructions
Add blueberries, avocado and soy blueberry yogurt to a blender. Add turmeric and cinnamon. Freshly grate the ginger into the blender.
Add the honey, flaxseed, soy milk and ice to the blender.
Blend until smooth.
A creamy and delicious smoothie, packed with healthy ingredients. Now that’s a great way to start the day if I do say so myself!

Hi Keith, if you can’t find the Silk Fruity & Creamy, I would recommend another blueberry yogurt as a substitute. Enjoy!
