I’m always looking for entertaining recipes that I can make for a crowd that require 6 ingredients or less. My go-to’s are Buffalo Cheesy Sausage Balls, Nutella Muddy Buddies and this Caramelized Pear and Baked Brie Bread Bowl. Now, adding these Cranberry Brie Ham Sliders to the list!

I’ve made these ham and cheese sliders several times when hosting friends and family for brunch, or as an appetizer on game day. And each time they’re a huge hit! Best part is, they’re so simple and only require 4 ingredients and 25 minutes to make.

They’re delicious year-round, but make a great holiday party appetizer around Christmas. And they’re a great way to use up leftover honey baked ham after Easter.

Instructions

  1. Cut a package of Hawaiian sweet rolls in half through the middle, keeping the top and bottom half of the rolls intact.
  2. Place the bottom halves of the rolls on a rimmed baking sheet, or in a 9 inch by 13 inch baking dish. Top the rolls with cranberry sauce, then layer on the sliced ham and slices of brie cheese.
  3. Place the top half of the rolls on top of the brie, then cover the rolls with foil.
  4. Bake covered with the foil at 350°F for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Remove the sliders from the oven and use a large serrated knife to slice between each of the rolls and serve the sliders immediately.

Substitutions and variations

Instead of cranberry sauce, you can mix up the flavor of this recipe with your favorite jam or jelly. I’ve made this recipe with raspberry jam and pepper jelly over the years, and both are delicious! If you really want to double up on the pork, you could also make them with bacon jam.

Instead of the brie cheese, feel free to use Swiss cheese or provolone.

How to keep them warm

Once the ham sliders have cooked, to keep them warm, turn the oven temperature down to 200°F and cover them with foil. This will keep them warm until you’re ready to serve them.

Storage and reheating

Store any leftover ham sliders in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. You can eat the sliders cold or reheat them in the oven.

To reheat the sliders, place them back on a baking sheet, cover with foil, and heat them up for 10 minutes in a 350°F oven.
