Valentine’s Day is just over a week away, and love and chocolate are in the air!

Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

To celebrate the holiday I decided to whip up a super simple slow cooked chocolate dip recipe in The Wonderbag that’s perfect for dipping strawberries, apples, cookies or pretzels!

In my house, I’m all about the chocolate dipped strawberries, so that’s what I dipped into my slow cooked chocolate!

Slow Cooked Chocolate Dip Recipe

The Wonderbag was perfect for this recipe because it’s not a direct source of heat so it won’t burn the chocolate, yet it will slow cook it while you work on other things… such as a lovely Valentine’s Day Dinner!

Slow Cooked Chocolate Dip Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 12 oz semi sweet chocolate (chips or chopped baking chocolate)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt

Add the heavy cream to a medium pot over medium-high heat. Once the cream begins to bubble, add the chocolate and continuously stir until melted. Add the vanilla and kosher salt, and keep stirring.

Slow Cooked Chocolate Dip Recipe

Once the chocolate is smooth and bubbling, cover the pot, place in the Wonderbag and close. Slow cook in the bag for 1-3 hours.

 Slow Cooked Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

Remove from the Wonderbag and dip strawberries, cookies, pretzels, or even bacon into the chocolate dip (oh yeah, I went there!)

Ingredients

  5. Slow cook in the bag for 1-3 hours.
