Chocolate Pumpkin Cookies are a perfectly scrumptious treat for fall days and Halloween parties! They’re also easy to make in under 30 minutes.
I spent a decent amount of last week scouring San Diego in search of these mythical “Hershey’s Pumpkin Spice Kisses”.
Low and behold, they do exist! I eventually found them at Target and turned them into these delicious chocolate pumpkin cookies for my annual Pumpkin Carving Party on Friday night.
They were a huge hit and I highly recommend you make them immediately!
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 24 Hershey’s Pumpkin Spice Kisses
Combine the flour, salt, baking soda and cocoa in a small mixing bowl.
Use an electric hand mixer to combine the butter, sugars, vanilla and egg in a large mixing bowl, then add the cocoa flour mixture.
Mix until combined well.
Roll into balls and place on a baking stone.
Bake at 325°F for 12 minutes.
Top with the Kisses while warm to let the pumpkin goodness melt into the chocolate cookies!
These are now tied for “best cookie ever” with my Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies.
They’re the perfect fall cookie for pumpkin lovers everywhere!

Thanks Becki! Hope your Thanksgiving guests enjoy them as much as my Halloween guests did 🙂
I’ve never seen these kisses before. Did they just come out this year? The cookies look yummy!
They’ve been out since 2008 as far as I know, but they’re really hard to find and are only released in limited quantities part of the year from what I’ve been able to find out online!
Not sure which i like better, these or your graham cracker treats. They’re both insanely yummy!!!
Thanks PKizzle! Always love to share my treats with you!
