This recipe is raved about at every party. I mean, what’s not to love? It’s buttery bread, covered in three delicious cheeses, topped with a drizzle of white truffle oil. Wow!
It’s totally okay if your mouth is watering right now, mine is too!

Ingredients
Here I explain the best ingredients for this garlic bread nachos recipe, what each one does, and substitution options. For the exact ingredient measurements, see the recipe card at the bottom of this post.
- Garlic bread – pick up a loaf of prepared garlic bread in the bakery section at the grocery store. You can also use frozen garlic bread, but you’ll need to leave it out at room temperature to defrost, so that you can slice it into cubes before making the recipe.
- Mozzarella cheese – I recommend grating it at home, so it melts perfectly over the garlic bread. Pre-shredded cheese in bags at the grocery store contain anti-caking additives that don’t allow the cheese to melt as nicely.
- Parmesan cheese – I also like to grate my own parmesan cheese at home for the best flavor. In a pinch, you could use shaker parmesan.
- Ricotta cheese – this is the creamy goodness that really takes these nachos over the top! I recommend using whole milk ricotta for the best flavor and texture.
- Italian seasoning – click the link for my homemade seasoning that’s so delicious and easy to make in less than 5 minutes! You can also purchase pre-made seasoning on the spice aisle at the grocery store.
- White truffle oil (optional) – drizzle this oil on top of the nachos for an added burst of flavor!

Instructions

- Dice the garlic bread into cubes and place them on a baking sheet.
- Top the bread cubes with mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and dollops of ricotta cheese.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top and pop them in the oven to bake for 10 minutes.
- Finish baking them under the broiler in the oven for 2 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with white truffle oil.
While the white truffle oil isn’t 100% necessary, it does add a 100% delicious finish to the dish!
I also recommend serving the dish with a small bowl of marinara sauce on the side for dipping. You can also garnish the nachos with fresh parsley or basil for a pop of color.

What to serve it with
This recipe can be served as a party appetizer. It’s great for a holiday party or Super Bowl party. It can also be served as an Italian dinner appetizer or side dish. I love to serve these garlic bread nachos with this Beef Ragu.

How to make garlic bread from scratch
If you want to make your own garlic bread at home for this recipe, start with a loaf of french bread. Slice the french bread in half, lengthwise through the middle.
Combine ½ cup softened butter with 4 crushed garlic cloves. Spread ¼ cup of the garlic butter on each half of the bread. Top each half with a teaspoon of dried parsley leaves or a tablespoon of fresh parsley leaves.
For this recipe, dice the bread into cubes, then top with the cheeses to make cheesy garlic bread nachos.
How to store and reheat them
Any leftover cheesy garlic bread nachos should be stored in the refrigerator. They will stay good for up to 4 days, covered in the refrigerator.
To reheat the garlic bread nachos, turn the oven broiler on to low. Once the oven is heated, place them in the middle rack of the oven for 2-3 minutes.
