Thank you to my friends at Cabot for sponsoring today’s post!

This year, I partnered up with my friends at Cabot Cheese to create the ultimate cheesy dinner roll for the holiday season. Turns out, I made THE BEST ROLLS EVER with just 5 ingredients, including Cabot’s award winning extra sharp cheddar cheese.

These rolls seriously couldn’t be easier to make and they seriously couldn’t be more delicious! A tasty mix of Italian herbs, tossed with butter and sharp cheddar, give these rolls the most flavor, and they pair well with almost every meal.

So far, I’ve served them with tomato soup, BBQ pork, spaghetti and meatballs, and soon I’ll be serving them at my Thanksgiving table. They’re easy enough to make, that I plan to get my nieces involved to help toss them together for the big dinner!

Needless to say, these pull apart rolls are a MUST-MAKE for the holiday season and beyond!

Ingredients

  • Refrigerated canned biscuits – any 16 ounce can of unflavored biscuits will work for this recipe.
  • Unsalted butter – if you only have salted butter available, omit the added salt in this recipe.
  • Cabot Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese – the worlds best rolls deserve the worlds best cheddar! That’s why I used my favorite Cabot Extra Sharp Cheddar. It’s rich, creamy, bold taste gives so much flavor to these rolls. You’ll need 1 1/4 cups grated cheddar for this recipe. An 8 ounce block, once shredded, will give you approximately 2 cups of cheese.
  • Italian seasoning – in addition to the cheese, this is what gives the rolls it’s signature herb-forward flavor. I used my homemade seasoning mix, linked to the left, that contains 7 herbs and spices, including minced garlic, which pairs perfectly with the cheddar in this recipe. (These rolls will definitely remind you of the flavor of cheddar bay biscuits!) You can also purchase pre-made Italian seasoning at the grocery store, just make sure that it contains garlic.
  • Salt – I recommend kosher salt or sea salt for the best flavor.
