That’s why I partnered up with my friends at Malahat Spirits to create this tasty, colorful and simple rum punch recipe!
When it comes to cocktails I’m not a big fan of sweet drinks, I like a more balanced cocktail with a little tart, a little sweet and a little spice, which is exactly what I’ve combined in this punch recipe!
The Malahat Spiced Rum paired perfectly with ginger and grapefruit, then I topped it off with sparkling wine for bubbles and fresh mint for a pop of color and flavor, a winning combination!
- 1 ½ cups Malahat Spiced Rum
- 2 bottles (12 oz) ginger beer
- 2 cups fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
- 1 bottle champagne or sparkling wine
- 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves
- 1 grapefruit (thinly sliced)
Add the rum, ginger beer, grapefruit juice and champagne to a large punch bowl. Add ice to the bowl. Mix in the mint leaves and sliced grapefruit.
Simple as that, your perfect holiday entertaining punch bowl is ready to go!
