Maple Apple Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

This simple slow cooker turkey breast recipe is perfect for Thanksgiving, or an easy weeknight dinner anytime! The maple apple glaze is delicious and only requires 4 ingredients and 5 minutes to prep!

For this recipe, I’m helping you free up some oven space by cooking the turkey breast in a slow cooker. This recipe couldn’t be easier! In just 5 minutes, prep it in the slow cooker, then set it aside and forget about it while you make the rest of your Thanksgiving meal!
The maple apple glaze keeps the turkey breast moist as it cooks and gives the finished turkey a sweet, flavorful exterior!
Cooking a turkey breast for Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving is perfect if you have a small group or if you want to make different kinds of turkeys. This slow cooker turkey breast recipe is not just for Thanksgiving though, it’s an easy recipe to make for a weeknight dinner anytime!
I always buy a couple of extra turkey breasts around Thanksgiving and store them in my freezer to make throughout the fall and winter for dinner.
Even if you’re just making it for 2-4 people, the leftovers make delicious turkey sandwiches throughout the week!
Ingredients
- 3-4 lb Jennie-O Oven Ready Boneless Turkey Breast
- 1 cup apple cider
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Remove the turkey breast from the outer packaging, but leave in the cooking bag. Place the cooking bag with the frozen turkey in the bottom of the slow cooker. Cut three 1/2 inch slits in the top of the fool proof cooking bag.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk the apple cider, maple syrup, salt and pepper together. Pour over the turkey breast in the slow cooker.
Slow cook 3-4 hours on high or 5-6 hours on low. Always cook to 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
Remove the turkey breast from the slow cooker, then remove from the cooking bag, place back in the slow cooker and flip to coat in the maple apple glaze. Remove from the slow cooker and place on a cutting board. Use an electric knife or carving knife to slice the turkey breast. Serve on a platter with thyme and rosemary sprigs as a garnish, if you’d like!
