Greek Crescent Rolls combine feta cheese, sun dried tomatoes & other delicious ingredients to create a scrumptious vegetarian appetizer recipe!
Let me introduce you to my latest must make recipe! Seriously y’all, the recipe idea sounded great in my head, but the end result was even better than what I could have imagined!
Layers of buttery, flakey crescent roll dough, wrapped around creamy Greek feta salad dressing, and filled with tasty ingredients like sun dried tomatoes, spinach & garlic, OMG yum!
This scrumptious appetizer takes bite-sized finger food to the next level at a party! It’s perfect for snacking on while watching some football, or just whip it up on a Tuesday, because it’s a simple dish that’s so delicious, it’s worthy of eating anytime, anywhere!
What you’ll need
- Canned crescent roll dough
- Greek feta salad dressing
- Note: unfortunately Litehouse no longer makes their Kalamata Feta Dressing originally used in this recipe. Instead, you can make this Greek Yogurt Feta Dressing at home, then add some diced kalamata olives, as a great replacement. You can also look for another creamy Greek Feta style dressing at your local grocery store and add diced kalamata olives to the dressing or in the rolls.
- Sun dried tomatoes
- Fresh spinach (chopped)
- Green onions (chopped)
- Dried oregano
- Garlic cloves
- Feta cheese crumbles
Step by step instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Combine the sun dried tomatoes, spinach, green onions, oregano, garlic & feta in a large bowl.
- Toss everything together, then set aside.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough, press perforations together.
- Spread ½ cup of Greek feta dressing over each roll of crescent dough.
- Divide the spinach, tomato mixture evenly across both rolls of dough.
- Roll the dough over the filling.
- Slice in 1 inch sections.
- Place the rolls touching in an oven safe dish.
- Note: The dish I’m using is 10 ½ inches in diameter and fit all of the rolls perfectly.
- Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes (or until the crescent rolls are golden brown).
They smell like pizza when they’re baking, and taste like heaven when they’re done!
The 10 minutes it takes you to toss these together, will be the best spent 10 minutes of your day week life! Ok, maybe I’m going a little overboard with the life thing, but basically what I’m saying is, make these, make these now!
I drizzled a little extra Greek feta dressing over the top… because you really just can’t get enough of the creamy goodness!
But seriously, creamy greek yogurt mixed with kalamata olives, onion, bell pepper and spices, you just can’t beat it! Pour it onto soft, flakey crescent rolls filled with tasty goodness and you’ve got yourself a seriously winning combination!
Pick one up and dig in!

How many/much diced olives would you add to the feta dressing?
Thanks
Hi KG, I would recommend adding 1/4 cup diced olives to 1 cup of feta dressing. Enjoy!
How are these at room temperature? Want to make to take on a boat ride thru the canals to see Christmas lights.
They’re still totally delicious at room temperature!
what’s a good substitution if you can’t find the Opa Dressing?
