Cookie cups have kind of become my thing y’all!

I mean, why make a boring ol’ flat cookie, when you can make a cute little cookie cup and fill it with something totally delicious?

That was my thought when I first made Chocolate Chip Cookie Cups filled with Nutella, then Red Velvet Cookie Cups filled with Cream Cheese Frosting, then again when I made Pumpkin Cookie Cups filled with Salted Caramel!

These bite sized treats are perfect for gifting to friends, serving at parties or for a sweet snack to keep around the house!

With the holiday season in full swing, I decided to turn my favorite winter drink into a cookie cup.

Hot Chocolate Cookie Cups are made by taking chocolate cookies, indenting them in the middle when they’re hot out of the oven and filling them with marshmallow creme. They’re fun to make and even more fun to eat!

Pumpkin Spice Apple Crumble

Pumpkin spice does not actually contain pumpkin, it’s simply the spices combined to make a pumpkin spice mix, which includes cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves and allspice.

That’s right, most of your beloved pumpkin spice treats are simply flavored with pumpkin pie spice, not actual pumpkin.

In some cases, both pumpkin spice and real pumpkin are added to recipes together, like in this Pumpkin Chili and these Pumpkin Cookie Cups with Salted Caramel Filling.

French Onion Dip Tacos

Creamy French onion dip adds a delicious twist to these ground beef tacos! The entire recipe is made in just 20 minutes, for an easy dinner!

In our house, French Onion Dip and chips are always a requirement on the menu for NFL Sundays!  So like any good food blogger, I made my own French Onion Dip Mix and started making homemade dip every Sunday.

Since I now had this delicious French Onion Dip Mix sitting in the pantry, I decided to try it out on other recipes, instead of just dip!

I first tried it out on pot roast and the result was AMAZING! Seriously, French Onion Pot Roast is the best pot roast ever! It was so good, I made it both in a pressure cooker and in a slow cooker.

Next up, I made these French Onion Dip Tacos. The perfect game day food that combines easy ground beef tacos with a seriously delicious dip!

We ate them on game day in crispy shells, then I made them again for dinner during the week and served them on flour tortillas. Both totally tasty options for this seriously easy taco recipe!

Pressure Cooker Thai Peanut Chicken Noodles

Honey Bunches of Oats Chicken Strips

Honey Bunches of Oats Chicken Strips are deliciously sweet & crispy! They can be baked in the oven or fried on the stove for an easy dinner recipe!

For this recipe, I took my Dad’s Famous Captain Crunch Fried Chicken and gave it a twist by using Honey Bunches of Oats cereal instead of Captain Crunch cereal and baking the chicken instead of frying it.

Well, I actually baked half and fried half, because I like options! 😉

Our house was divided on their favorites between the fried and the baked. My Mom liked the fried better, Kurt liked the baked better and I just couldn’t chose, they’re both so good!

Baking the chicken brings out more of the Honey Bunches of Oats flavor, while frying it gives it that crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside deliciousness that we all know and love!

Either way, you can’t go wrong!

Heck, bake half and fry half like I did and do the taste test yourself!

That dinner turned out so delicious that I turned around and made it again the next day for the blog!

The crispy kale, paired with the tender gnocchi and creamy butternut squash creates the perfect trifecta of textures. And all of the fall spices really take the flavor of this recipe over the top!

After Kurt took his first bite, his response was “you could open a bakery that just sells these!” They’re seriously that good, they can stand on their own up against any other fall dessert.

They’re the perfect little snack to serve at Halloween parties or to bring to a Friendsgiving celebration. I can definitely tell you that this will not be the only time I make these pumpkin cookies this fall!

Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos

I’m never one to shy away from tacos! Breakfast Tacos, Pulled Pork Tacos or Greek Pita Tacos, there’s no such thing as “too many tacos” in my world!

When it comes to making vegan tacos, I love Butternut Squash Tacos in the fall, Grilled Veggie Chimichurri Tacos in the summer and these Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos year-round!

These tacos seriously couldn’t be easier to make!

Toss some cauliflower with buffalo sauce and roast in the oven. While the cauliflower is roasting, mix up a little jalapeno carrot slaw and blend together the avocado sauce. Once the buffalo cauliflower comes out of the oven, toss it all on a tortilla and you have one seriously scrumptious vegan taco recipe!

Buffalo Cheesy Pizza Bread

Taco Ring

Tacos! One of my favorite things to put recipe twists on! Whether it’s Taco Spaghetti, Taco Soup or Taco Dip, I love finding new & different ways to eat tacos!

The Taco Ring was introduced to me when I was 12 years old and my Mom took me to a Pampered Chef party. (And people wonder why I love cooking so much!) We made taco rings at the party and the recipe instantly became a favorite at the Bond house!

Homemade Taco Seasoning

Make your own taco seasoning at home to use on chicken or ground beef tacos, in taco soup or taco spaghetti! It’s easy to triple the recipe and store it in a mason jar in the pantry until ready to use. This recipe is mild, gluten free, preservative free and Whole 30 compliant!

I’ve been making this homemade taco seasoning for years. I use it in Taco Soup, Buffalo Taco Spaghetti, Taco Croissants, simple ground beef tacos and so many other recipes!

I always make a big batch to keep on hand, along with my homemade French Onion Dip Mix and Fajita Seasoning (equal parts chili powder, paprika, cumin and sea salt).

The seasoning mixes are stored in half pint mason jars in the pantry, so they’re always ready to use when I need them for a recipe.

One of my favorite things to do when creating new recipes is to combine two favorite dishes into one amazing new dish!

I was inspired to make this recipe after seeing something similar on a menu in Washington DC at Fat Pete’s BBQ. Their version featured jalapenos, stuffed with cream cheese, topped with a little smokie, then wrapped in bacon.

I decided to go more traditional with my pigs in a blanket and wrap the entire thing in crescent rolls, but I have no doubt that bacon would also be an amazing choice!

The real debate was what to call this little appetizer, the best idea I heard from friends was “Pigs in a Popper”, so cute and perfect for this appetizer mash-up!

On the first banh mi pizza experiment I placed the jalapenos, onions and carrots with the pork on the pizza before baking. The family consensus was that to be more true to a real banh mi sandwich, the toppings should be raw and added after the pizza was baked. I also did a little experimenting with the sauce and about 5 pizza taste-tests later, the perfect banh mi pizza was born!

One of the things that excites me so much about the new neighborhood we’ll be living in is that there’s a brand new Asian market just about 2 miles away and it’s huge! I decided to stop by a couple of weeks ago before heading over to the new house for a meeting with our contractor and pick up some red and green curry paste.

I used the red curry paste in this recipe for Slow Cooker Thai Peanut Chicken Noodles (seriously, so good!) and the green curry paste in this recipe for Avocado Curry!

Don’t worry though, if you don’t have an Asian market near you, you can still find red and green curry paste in the Asian section of your local grocery store, or you can order the same Green Currry Paste that I found at my local Asian market on Amazon.

This weekend we put our first offer in on a house (eeeeek!) It’s so exciting and terrifying at the same time. This house needs A LOT of work, so I’ve been putting some serious spreadsheet skills to use creating a list of all the work that needs to be done, a timeline for the renovation and budgeting.

Even though it seems totally unnecessary, one of the things at the top of my list is an outdoor patio addition. I love entertaining, especially outdoors in San Diego, so this is really important to me! After living in an apartment for almost a year without having a space to entertain outside (or really inside for that matter!) I can’t wait to get in the new house (fingers crossed!) and fire up the grill for that first outdoor BBQ!

Easter is just a couple of weeks away and as I thought about new recipes for the holiday, all I kept thinking about was making a spring version of my very popular Butternut Squash Bruschetta Recipe!

That bruschetta appetizer is a HUGE HIT around the fall holidays, so I knew I had to make a spring version for Easer. I decided to roast up beets instead of butternut squash, and toss in fresh basil instead of sage, instead of ricotta, I used goat cheese (because I love the way it pairs with beets!) but I kept the most important piece of the bruschetta in tact, the almighty balsamic reduction drizzle at the end that adds a touch of sweetness and a beautiful final presentation!
